The Material Science and Engineering Department at University of Florida was one of the 10 lucky winners of the Sintratec Kit lottery at Formnext 2017.
During the 2017 formnext conference on November 21, EOS announced the 10 winners of their Sintratec Kit lottery. EOS, a leader on additive manufacturing, created a Global Academia Program to help preparing scientist and students for the imminent future of manufacturing. As part of this program they raffle 10 Sintratec Kits. Out of 400 universities subscribed to the program, our department was one of the 10 lucky winners. The Sintratec Kit will enable our students to strength their knowledge and skills in additive manufacturing and functional prototyping. In addition, it will serve as an ideal research tool to help advance current 3D-printing technologies.
