The majority of the equipment in the MSE undergraduate laboratories is mainly available to undergraduate students to provide laboratory hands-on experience that covers class material and that enriches their educational experience.

Laboratory equipment is also available to undergraduate and graduate researchers. In order to get access to specific equipment, students (undergrads and grads) need first to complete all the necessary safety training (Laboratory Safety Guidelines) and the equipment training (forms to request equipment training).
